Wine Bottle Cake
A very special cake for a 50th birthday celebration. When you reach mid-life, some people itch to buy a porsche...others venture out of their comfort zone and open a winery! This husband/wife team just opened a new winery in San Francisco (that's right, they make the wine right here in the city) called Bluxome Winery. We wish them both every success.

Pink and Black Wedding Cake
Charming wedding cake we created for a grand affair at the Peninsula Golf and Country Club. This cake has a petal shaped base and is finished in luscious ivory buttercream frosting, adorned with a pink sugar anemone and pink sugar bow.
50th Birthday Cake
A baseball and football fan, wine connoisseur, and a karaoke buff all come together for a special and fun 50th birthday cake. Their pet dog and cat also made it into the sccene.

Medieval Castle Cake
We had the chance to make another medieval castle cake, this time for a young 5 year old boy's class in Palo Alto. Two knights and a princess completed the scene. Inside was moist devil's food cake with fluffy buttercream icing.
Lego Ninjago Cake
We made this for my son, Andrew, who turned 4 recently. He loves the blue ninja and carries this around with him. The legos are made from fondant using a special mold we created.
On top is a handsculpted "ninja" made from fondant, along with "trading cards" also made out of fondant. Everything (except the candles) is edible! The key to an authentic-looking ninja is the "angry eyebrows".

Circus Theme Cake
The circus is here! Under this "big tent" was rich chocolate cake and red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting. All circus animals were handsculpted from fondant.
Golf and Books Cake
A 40th birthday party for a professor and avid golfer! Served 40 people. We added personal touches on the cake board, like icons from his alma mater and favorite album covers.

Style Me Pretty Featured Wedding
We worked on a gorgeous wedding held at the Burlingame Country Club that was recently published in Style Me Pretty. I would post images here, but I can't seem to figure out how to do so! A classic, white wedding that is timeless.

Sports Themed Crooked Cake
Our wonderful client, Jenna, ordered this special cake for her little 4 year old boy, whose sports themed party was held at Nothing But Hoops. The "ball" was red velvet cake, the top was chocolate with chocolate mousse, and the bottom was lemon cake with lemon filling -- something for everyone!
Baby Animal Safari Cake
Served 50 people. We got our inspiration from the invitations and paper plates for this adorable 1st birthday party. The colors are muted, yet still very "baby".
